Privacy policy

1. What we collect
When you visit this site or look up an IP, we process your IP address or the IP you entered to find its location, network and whether it is a proxy, VPN or datacenter address. There is no sign-up, and we don't collect names, email addresses or other personal details.
Our servers may briefly keep IP addresses, browser type and access times in access logs to prevent abuse and fix problems.
The leak test uses WebRTC in your browser to get the addresses it exposes (which means contacting a STUN server, possibly a public one), and records which DNS servers resolved our test names during the test. The results are only shown on the page; the test records are deleted automatically after a few minutes and never stored.
2. Data sources
Checks run on our own servers: we compare the IP with public datasets we keep locally (such as the Tor Project exit list, X4BNet, FireHOL, IPsum, cloud providers' published ranges, RouteViews and DB-IP). We don't send the IPs you check to any third-party IP data service.
3. Cookies and advertising
This site shows no ads and uses no cookies.
4. Share links
Every IP's result has a public page (for example /en/ip/1.1.1.1) so it can be shared. Don't share an IP you don't want others to see.
5. Data retention
We don't sell your data. Logs are kept only as long as needed to fix problems and prevent abuse.
6. Children's privacy
This site is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
